Tarot Foundations- 4 Week Beginner Program

This program is designed to take the mystery out of Tarot and give you the tools, confidence, and practice to start reading for yourself and others in just four weeks.

What You Will Learn
Over 4 weeks (60–90 minutes per class), you’ll receive step-by-step teachings, live demonstrations, and guided practice.

Week 1 – Introduction to Tarot (Sept 9)

• History, purpose, and structure of the Tarot
• Major vs. Minor Arcana explained
• The four suits and their elemental correspondences
• Your first one-card reading practice

Week 2 – The Major Arcana (Sept 16)

• The 22 Major Arcana cards & archetypes
• The Fool’s Journey as a map for life
• Practice: 3-card spread with Major Arcana only

Week 3 – The Minor Arcana (Sept 23)

• The four suits: Cups, Swords, Wands, Pentacles
• Numbers and court cards explained
• Practice: Two-card mini readings with classmates

Week 4 – Spreads, Intuition & Integration (Sept 30)

• Common Tarot spreads (3-card, Celtic Cross, Relationship spread)
• How to blend intuition with traditional meanings
• Tarot ethics: reading for yourself vs. others
• Practice: A full reading with feedback

What to Bring
For this course, we will primarily be working with the Angel Tarot Deck by Radleigh Valentine. If you don’t have this deck, don’t worry—you are welcome to bring your own Tarot deck, and we will make adjustments so you can follow along with ease. Please also bring a notebook and pen to capture insights, spreads, and your personal reflections throughout the journey.
