Our first SoulSister dinner 🤍
SoulSister Connection is a women-only community in Dubai for women who want real friendships, not just more contacts. Our dinners are small on purpose: six women, one table, and an evening of good food and honest conversation, hosted by Lara.

The setting
A hidden listening bar in Downtown Dubai, tucked away behind a little vinyl shop. Warm, honey-toned wood, soft light, vinyl on hand-built speakers and izakaya-style plates, made for long conversations. The exact location is shared with guests a few days before the dinner.

What’s included
• A shared menu of small plates, from fresh starters to hot dishes, noodles and dessert
• 2 bottles of water for the table
• Your host for the evening, plus a few conversation prompts to break the ice
Other drinks are available from the bar, on your own bill.

Menu
To begin
Pickled cauliflower with ginger and orange, and cucumber with salt and sesame: a fresh, crunchy start to the evening.
To start
• Midori salad with crispy udon and a creamy cashew dressing
• Green beans gomae in a nutty sesame dressing
Hot plates
• Chicken karaage: golden, crispy fried chicken with smoked soy garlic kewpie
• Roasted sweet potato with ginger brown butter
Noodles
• Dan dan noodles with spicy sesame chicken, cucumber and fresh cilantro
Something sweet
• Monaka ice cream sandwiches: crisp Japanese wafers filled with ice cream
On the table
• 2 bottles of water
Vegetarian and vegan dishes are included. The Midori salad contains nuts, so let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you book. Other drinks are available from the bar, on your own bill.
