Elemental Awakening - Cacao and Kundalini Ceremony

Join us for a guided ceremony designed to gently open the heart and bring you into deep alignment with yourself and the world around you.

We begin with the sacred medicine of ceremonial cacao, a gentle plant teacher known to activate heart-centered awareness and soften emotional layers. As we sip this rich, nourishing elixir, you’ll be invited into a space of intention and presence.

From there, we move into conscious breathwork, a powerful practice to regulate the nervous system, awaken life force energy, and clear emotional or energetic blockages. Somatic practices will be weaved in with breath to encourage release.

Next, receive hands-on or energetic healing support, helping to recalibrate and realign your body’s natural flow. This energy work offers deep grounding and emotional release, working in harmony with your breath and intention. The facilitators will be offering a blend of Kundalini reiki and Kundalini activation.

To close, we journey into an immersive sound bath, weaving crystal singing bowls, chimes, and healing frequencies to soothe your entire system and seal in the evening’s transformation.

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that participation in this Reiki healing and cacao ceremony is entirely voluntary and I am choosing to participate at my own discretion.
2. Not a Substitute for Medical Care
I understand that Reiki and cacao ceremonies are holistic, spiritual, and energy-based healing practices. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or mental health care. I agree
to consult a licensed healthcare provider for any medical or psychological concerns.
3. Health Acknowledgement
I affirm that I am in good physical and mental health to participate in this event. I will notify the
facilitator of any allergies, sensitivities (including to cacao), medications, or health conditions that
may be affected.
4. Cacao Use Disclaimer
I understand that ceremonial cacao contains natural compounds that may interact with certain medications (including antidepressants) or medical conditions. I take full responsibility for any effects from consuming cacao and have consulted my healthcare provider if needed.
5. Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless the facilitator(s), event organizers, venue, and Eventbrite from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from my participation, including personal injury, illness, orloss.
6. Media Release (Optional)
I grant permission to be photographed or recorded during the event, with the understanding that images may be used for promotional purposes. (You may opt out by informing the organizer in advance.)

Please read the following and ask if you have any questions:
Sound therapy (including sound baths) and energy work are not substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Sound therapy and energy work are not recommended and not safe under certain medical conditions. By signing, I affirm that a licensed physician has verified my good health and physical condition to participate in such programs. In addition, I will make the practitioner aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class. If I am pregnant, become pregnant or I am post-natal or post-surgical, my signature verifies that I have my physician's approval to participate. I also affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice and participation is at my own risk; in consideration in participation in sound therapy/healing and energy work. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against Ohuru Yoga, its owners, officers, employees, and instructors.
It is my choice to receive a vibrational sound therapy and I understand that the practitioner will be using gentle sound and vibration during the sessions on/around me. Sound therapy/healing is a method of relaxation and stress reduction. I understand that practitioners do not diagnose illness, disease, or physical or mental disorders, nor do they prescribe medical treatments or pharmaceuticals. I acknowledge that these sessions are not a substitute for medical examination or diagnosis, and that is recommended I see a primary health care provider for those services.
These sessions are nonrefundable due to the nature of the service. These sessions have no intention of treating any medical diagnosis and do not replace a medical doctor or offer medical advice. These sessions include energy work (also known as a "kundalini activation" or "prana shakti"). By consenting to this experience, you understand the intention of having your energetic field activated and what possibilities that can bring. Ohuru Yoga and Wellness is no way responsible for any effects of this work, as this is your energy, not theirs. Energy work is not recommended for people prone to manic or psychotic episodes. The following are contraindications for this session. Please consult with a doctor before proceeding if you are working with any of the conditions listed below:
Neurological & Cardiovascular: Epilepsy, seizures, strokes (CVA), transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases (heart attack history, arrhythmia, heart failure), aneurysms (personal or immediate family history), use of prescription blood thinners, implanted medical devices (pacemakers, neurostimulators).
Psychiatric & Mental Health: Severe mental disorders (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, dissociative disorders, etc.), severe anxiety or PTSD (without professional support), hospitalization for a psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, active substance withdrawal (alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or other drugs), low impulse control.
Chronic & Autoimmune Diseases: Addison's disease (adrenal insufficiency), chronic respiratory diseases (COPD-II, COPD-III), unstable diabetes (especially Type 1 Diabetes), severe autoimmune or inflammatory diseases (Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, severe Fibromyalgia), terminal illnesses or chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation, cancer (only contraindicated for those undergoing active treatment or in advanced stages—consult a doctor if in remission).
Acute & Musculoskeletal Conditions: Acute somatic or viral diseases, severe adrenal fatigue or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), osteoporosis or unhealed injuries, severe chronic pain conditions affecting movement, major surgery within the last 6 months (especially abdominal, heart, or neurological procedures).
I hereby understand that photography, video, or otherwise recordings may occur at classes or events and such photographs and videos can be posted on Ohuru Yoga’s website or social media platform. I hereby consent to the use of my image that may
appear in any such photograph or video.
I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue any Released Party for any Claim caused by any negligence or other acts of a Released Party.
I have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms of this Agreement and Release of Waiver of Liability. I am signing this agreement voluntarily and recognize that my signature serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the State of California.
