A soothing morning of sound meditation, reflection, and gentle connection for those carrying grief through the holiday season.

Join us at Grieving Hearts: A Sound & Reflections Retreat, a safe and nurturing space for those grieving the loss of someone during the holiday season. Held at The Royce Hotel, in South Yarra, this half-day retreat offers sound meditation, gentle reflection, and meaningful connection.

We aim to provide solace and support for grieving hearts during the festive holiday season. This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to honour your journey of grief and to find comfort in a community of understanding souls.

Come as you are and let us walk this path together. Reserve your spot today and take a step towards integrating your grief.

WHY THIS RETREAT MATTERS:
It’s during the holiday season that feelings of grief and sorrow rise. Memories flood back, and your body longs for the physical presence of your loved one again. Eating and celebrating don’t feel the same, and you may even feel guilty for sharing joy when your loved one is not there. This can be confusing and difficult to navigate, let alone talk about with others.

But, did you know that:

  • Suppressing emotions from grief can deepen your isolation and fatigue
  • Sharing your grief helps lighten, move and integrate it
  • Taking time to grieve is an act of love, not a sign of weakness
  • Grief shared in safe company softens sorrow and allows you to feel seen
  • Connection begins to heal what isolation cannot.

When someone dies, it's the people most closest to them who often don't make time to grieve, as they are busy with funeral arrangements and practicalities. It's only months later that their grief fully arrives, catching many off guard. This can be partifularly heightened during the Christmas and holiday period.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE GRIEVING HEARTS RETREAT:
A 4-hour guided morning retreat, including a plated lunch:

  • Opening ritual to honour your person, create a photo altar, and set intentions
  • Guided reflections: emotion and memory
  • Live sound meditation to soothe the nervous system and release held energy
  • Morning tea, with a private barista and refreshments
  • Plated lunch in the Royce Terrace Showroom bar, to continue connection
  • Small, supportive group (max 14) ensuring a safe, intimate space to connect.
