Sound of New England Rehearsal!

🎶🎶BECAUSE GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN…Okay lovely ladies…we are looking for those of you who LOVE TO SING BECAUSE IT’S TIME TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOU! We are a fun loving sisterhood who goes by the name of The Sound of New England Chorus! WE are looking for new members for our women's chorus and we're hoping you'll come visit us.

Where: We rehearse right in West Hartford Center at the Bethany Lutheran Church on South Main Street and Boulevard (we are not affiliated with the church, we only use the space to rehearse in)

When: EVERY TUESDAY evening from 7-9 p.m.

Why: Because we LOVE to make beautiful music together, laugh and enjoy each other

We are a part of the Sweet Adelines International organization, which is a worldwide organization committed to "elevating women singers worldwide through education, performance, and competition in barbershop harmony and a cappella music."

Whether you are searching for the friendship found in quartet singing, the community of being part of a chorus, or both, we have a place for YOU!! YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ MUSIC…we have audio learning media to help you!

We sing a cappella music in four-part barbershop style with a wide variety of music from all decades. The coolest thing is that when four voice parts simultaneously execute on time and on pitch, the chord will produce a “fifth note” called an overtone. Hearing an overtone “ring” is a special kind of magic — once you hear the ring you know what we mean! Come for the singing, stay for the friendships!
