Join us for a welcoming 7-week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation course! This course is designed to lay down the foundations of a meditation practice, fostering well-being and nurturing more loving relationships. No prior experience is necessary, so come as you are and embark on a transformative journey. In a friendly and supportive environment, we will explore mindfulness of the breath and body, as well as delve into our thoughts and emotions.
Together, we will learn powerful mindfulness techniques while also tapping into compassion practices to awaken both the heart and mind. Each class lasts for 90 minutes and features a brief talk, a sharing circle, formal sitting practice, and a Questions and Answers segment. Additionally, when appropriate, we'll incorporate somatic practices to ground or energize ourselves. Join us and embark on a path of self-discovery and growth. Let's cultivate mindfulness and embrace a more fulfilling life together!

WHO IS THIS FOR?
If you are completely new to mindfulness meditation, you will benefit greatly. And if you have a meditation practice and would like to practice in community and revisit some ideas about mindfulness, acceptance and loving kindness, this course is for you too.
WHAT SHALL I EXPECT?
- Each class takes 90 minutes, combining theory, practice, and Questions and Answers.
- Classes take place on Wednesdays between 18:30 and 20:00, from 4 October to 22 November. No class on 8 November.
- Location: MagNet Közösségi Ház, 1062 Budapest, Andrássy út 98.
- We provide cushions and chairs for the practice, and feel free to bring a blanket for more comfort.
- The course is limited to 12 people to create an intimate and safe atmosphere for personal inquiry, and takes place with at least 6 registrants.
- Registration is extended until 2 October. If you need more information before you sign up, feel free to email me to set up a free 15-minute call.
- The course provides handouts, guided audio meditations, and you’re encouraged to continue the practice by joining the regular drop-in online meditations from November on.
