* 6:40 pm - Noah Lawrence & Luke Barge (Zopa) - Functional Domain Modelling in Kotlin
* 7:10 pm – Rob Moffat - Rob will demonstrate his Open-Source diagramming software, which uses Kotlin on both the server-side and client-side to lay out SVG-based diagrams. Rob will discuss the benefits of using Kotlin Multiplatform and some of the downsides and considerations for making this work
* 7:40 pm – Break & Pizza
* 8:00 pm - Louis Jackman - Kotlin Coroutines in The World of JVM's New Virtual Threads

* **Noah Lawrence**
* Senior Software Engineer - Noah has been working with Kotlin for two years as part of the car finance team at Zopa. Previously, he worked with Java at a fintech start-up and a technology consultancy. Noah is a big fan of the Arrow library for functional programming in Kotlin and has been using this extensively in his work at Zopa.
* **Luke Barge**
* Software Engineer - Luke, with 5 years' JVM experience and 1.5 years in Kotlin, is passionate about functional programming and how it can be used to create more maintainable and less error prone software.
* **Rob Moffat**
*  Senior Technical Architect at the FINOS FinTech Open Source Software Foundation.  He is a seasoned IT professional living in the UK. Over the last twenty years, he has worked at many of the top-tier investment banks in London on regulatory and transformation IT projects. Most recently he has been an advocate for the Symphony platform and the transformational capabilities of chat bots within finance. Rob is a staunch advocate of Open Source and works on many open source projects, including the FINOS "Spring Bot" project which he built and contributed whilst working at Deutsche Bank. Rob holds a Computer Science degree and an MBA and is the author of "Risk-First Software Development"
* **Louis Jackman**
* Application Security Manager - Louis manages the Application Security team at Zopa, a company heavily invested in the JVM and Kotlin. Previously, he worked for a startup that was built atop Java, in a more software-engineering capacity for many years before transitioning into InfoSec. He has a particular interest in a subset of AppSec called LangSec, an intriguing overlap between AppSec and Programming Language Theory. When it comes to the security, reliability, and comprehensibility of code, he'd prefer programming environments to shepherd developers towards "falling into a pit of success".
