Cape Town SASS Meetup - June 2026 (Special Edition)

LOCATION: Gardener's Cottage at the Montebello Design Centre (Newlands)

Please take note that the first part* of the planned meetup’s programme may be of particular interest to Designated and Candidate Marriage Officers, while the second part is an open agenda for social connection and free-ranging conversation.
Of course, all SASS members are warmly welcome to the entire event (or as much of it as you can make it for)!

• 09:45 am: Introductions (and placing food / beverage orders)
• *⁠10:00 am to 10:40 am: sharing of experiences and guidance on conducting secular memorials — led by Jaqueline Dommisse and Rudy Nadler-Nir
• 10:40 am to 11 am: Q&A / discussion
• 11:00 am to 12:30 — socialising time and open conversation
• 12:30 pm: event close
