What we’re about
Hello, this is a community for women of South Asian descent who were either born in Canada or grew up in Canada since childhood. Unfortunately, this is not a group for new comers. I'm sorry about that. We will have a social (generally every 4 - 8 weeks), and build a holistic community of women who want to provide love, support, encouragement and guidance to one another.
The vision for this group is a work in progress, however, it's not too far fetched to say that we might make friends who will help us grow, contribute and feel more fulfilled. Many of us are pioneers, constructing a life away from the regions of our ancestors; and so, we have to be courageous enough to try to build a better world through friendship and community.
