Doggy Skills for Public Places aka “Coffee with the dog trainer” 😊

Tracy has become expert at turning pups into model citizens in public places. Anyone can keep their dog out of trouble at home, but what about those run-ins with other dogs in public? How do you respond to people petting your dog and getting him all excited? We will learn and practice the skills necessary for you and your pup to enjoy relaxing time together out in the world of retail, parks and dining. And we will have fun doing it. Class fee is $20 for each dog. Each dog must have his own handler. You can use paypal, Venmo or bring cash.

Dogs must be under your control. If your dog is pulling away from you or barking, I'll work with you on those skills before we go indoors. You will need a collar such as a martingale collar, prong collar or face halter collar. A harness does not offer the control you need for this class. No aggressive dogs or biters unless they are muzzled.
