About us
Regular Meetups will be Thurs/Fri/Sat or Sun mornings. If these times do fit your schedule, you may not want to join this Meetup. There may occasionally be some exceptions.
Plein air painting, derived from the French phrase "en plein air" meaning "in the open air," is the practice of painting outdoors, directly from nature. It involves capturing the light, atmosphere, and natural details of a scene while observing it firsthand
Come spend some relaxed, creative time outdoors with fellow artists. Whether you’re an experienced plein air artist or just giving it a try, this is a space for all skill levels and styles.
This is a casual meetup—just a friendly group coming together to make art in nature. Please bring your own supplies, and feel free to use whatever medium you like—all art mediums are welcome!
We’ll kick things off with a quick welcome circle where we can introduce ourselves, ask questions, share ideas, or talk about what we’re working on today. After that, feel free to find a spot that inspires you and dive into your art at your own pace.
There’s no pressure—just good vibes, fresh air, and creative energy. Enjoy the day and happy painting!
