South Bay Psychedelic Experience Integration Circle in Park (Free)

### Integration Begins with Intention, Not Expectation
As we prepare for our first gathering, we’d like to offer a reflection on something that is often overlooked in psychedelic spaces: the difference between intention and expectation.
In a world that rewards speed and results, it’s easy to bring expectation into our inner work - hoping a journey will give us clarity, anticipating a breakthrough, or wanting a specific feeling to arise.
But true integration begins not with control, but with presence and way-of-being.
Intention is about how we show up.
It’s a choice to engage with curiosity, compassion, or courage. It may be like: “No matter what happens, I choose to meet it with an open heart & mind.”
Expectation is about what we think should happen.
It often leaves us chasing external outcomes, feeling unsatisfied, and missing the wisdom already unfolding.
In our upcoming workshop, we’ll explore what it means to integrate with intention - anchored in your values, grounded in your body, and surrender to what emerges.

Optional reflection:
What would it feel like to approach your psychedelic experience not with expectation, but with simple intention?
Before we meet, try this prompt that may align with your:
“I intend to...” (and let your heart finish the sentence).
With love and care,
Mei and David
