Open Story Swap for Story Enthusiasts and Storytellers
Our monthly open story swap is enriching entertainment for the novice and professional storytellers as well as enthusiasts alike. We meet informally to introduce each other. Our stories vary greatly such as folk tales, mythology, legends, and God loving. We share a little about ourselves and would like you to tell us about yourselves, what inspires you to be your best, and what are your favorite stories. Storytellers need STORY LISTENERS so come down and let us entertain you! For more information about the Guild and membership or booking an event, please call Ron at[masked] or Diana [masked]

What we're about

Be a part of an active, exciting group of tellers with an opportunity to serve the community. Workshops and mentoring to help develop story skills are available. We meet monthly for story swaps and business meetings to learn, share, and grow. Opportunities to participate and enjoy public events by the guild storytellers occur regularly. We each have our own style of storytelling that may involve acting and singing. Develop your own style of storytelling from your tastes, make a difference. Come check us out and join in the fun!

Qualified storytellers tell their stories at the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) on the last Wednesday of the month and Joplin Ranch on the second Monday of the month. Also a number of storytellers tell at the Orangewood Children's Home on the first Wednesday of the month. Contact the guild for the details.
