Shipwreck! Exploring the Horseneck Point Lifesaving Station

If you've been on one of our walking book tours before, you know how we like to take books outside and use their stories as an excuse for exploration. Next up on our ambles: East Beach in Westport and the original Lifesaving Station that is the subject of Shipwreck! Horseneck Lifesaving Station and South Coast Rescuers. There's no need to have read the book, just bring a healthy curiosity.

We'll walk a bit, talk a bit, have some refreshments and explore the beach, the lifesaving station and the characters who have inhabited its history.

This Buzzards Bay Coalition & South Coast Almanac event is free and open to the public but we ask that you register here so we get a headcount for refreshments.
