About us
Almost every AI meetup and builder group in South Florida meets in Miami. South Dade deserves its own.
South Dade AI Builders brings together students, business owners, working professionals and anyone curious about artificial intelligence in Homestead, Florida City, Cutler Bay and the surrounding area. No coding experience required. Just bring your curiosity, your questions, and whatever you're working on.
What we talk about:
• How people are actually using AI at work, in school and in business
• What we're building: tools, agents, automations and side projects
• The future of work and what AI means for jobs, careers and local businesses
• Practical tips, live demos and lessons learned (including what didn't work)
• Using AI responsibly, ethically and well
When and where: Wednesdays at 12:30 PM at Miami Dade College, Homestead Campus, Building C, Room 202. Bring your lunch.
Who's hosting: I'm Claude B. Kershner IV, DBA. I teach Leadership and Management Innovation at MDC Homestead, spent more than two decades in my family's business here, Reef Tropical, and I build with AI every day. I started this group so we can learn from each other locally, and I'm working to bring more AI events to the Homestead Campus.
Students and community members are all welcome. Join the group, come to a session, and let's start talking.
