Watch the movie on our own, then gather on Zoom for a lively discussion. What a concept! That's how we roll at the Beth Ami Good Movie Club focused on provocative films with a connection to Jewish and/or Humanistic values.

The movie this time is Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy. This film explores the unique role of Jewish composers and lyricists in the creation of the modern American musical, and features interviews and conversations with some of the greatest composers and writers of the
Broadway stage. The film is the first of its kind to examine the phenomenon that, over the 50-year period of its development, the songs of the Broadway musical were created almost exclusively by Jewish Americans.
