Paddy Byrne
Paddy Byrne PhD, BSc. Is a graduate of UL with a background in materials Science & Engineering. He is a Senior Technologist in the Materials Print & Packaging Department in Enterprise Ireland. His role is to assist companies to undertake in house and collaborative R& D projects on new product and process developments. Paddy develops Operational Excellence Projects delivering increased automated production, digitalisation integration, lean manufacturing processes and sustainable practices with reduced carbon footprints. He also links companies to the Innovation Network of EI Tech Centres & Gateways, wider academic ecosystem & EU funding programmes.
