Very informal meets at the 'short term fun, open to exploring' end of the chess spectrum!
Thinking we'll get together, once or twice a month, to begin with, in a nice pub, and just play chess for a bit.
Going to set a date in my local to start but, once a few people join, we can mix up the venues a bit.
I'm rubbish at chess, btw, but just really like it - all abilities welcome, to teach and learn from one another, alongside a pint & some chat ☺️
Free to join currently, but might have to introduce a very small subscription fee at some stage, just to share costs, as meetup charge over £40 a month to run a group... hope that's ok!
