About the Class
Step in front of the camera and strengthen your ability to audition confidently for television, film, episodic productions, streaming projects, commercials, and self-tapes.
This is not simply a class where we talk about acting. You will work on camera during every class.
Through camera playback, constructive feedback, and group discussion, you will discover the difference between what you think you are communicating and what the audience—and the casting director—actually sees.
When auditioning for a smaller role, have you ever thought:

  • “Am I overthinking this?”
  • “I don’t have enough time to show them anything!”
  • “There isn’t much to work with in one or two lines.”
  • “What does the casting director really want?”

This class addresses those questions and gives you practical tools to make strong, believable choices—even when your audition contains only one line, one word, or a simple reaction.

  • Audition techniques for television, film, commercials, and streaming projects
  • How to approach and prepare a professional self-tape
  • Memorization tools that can be used across different media
  • Camera techniques that help ground your performance

  • How to communicate clearly with dialogue, one word, or no words at all

You will leave this class feeling more comfortable in front of the camera, more confident in your acting choices, and better prepared for auditions and professional self-tapes.
2027 Class Fee
Early Registration: $325
To receive the early-registration price, full payment must be received at least 14 days before the first class—by June 7, 2027.
Regular Class Fee: $350
The regular fee applies after June 7, 2027, including payment at the door.

Registration and Attendance Policy
There are no refunds once the class begins.
There are no refunds or credits for tardiness or missed classes. Makeup classes are not available for classes missed by an individual student.
