# BASIC PUBLIC SPEAKING WORKSHOP ON CAMERA WITH PLAYBACK
Saturday, October 30, 2027 | 12:00 PM–3:00 PM
Speak with confidence, even when the butterflies show up! In this supportive workshop, you’ll practice speaking on camera, watch your playback, and receive useful feedback in a safe, secure environment where everyone roots for each other.
For all levels of speakers and public speakers, whether you’re building your skills or refreshing them.
## What we’ll cover
- Calming nerves with simple breathing and grounding techniques
- Organizing a talk, introduction, or pitch
- Using your voice, pace, gestures, and eye contact
- Connecting with an audience through storytelling
- Thinking on your feet with short exercises
- Learning from on-camera playback and supportive feedback
Professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, community leaders, and actors working on storytelling are all welcome. The skills also apply to speaking during computer meetings at work.
## Workshop details
When: Saturday, October 30, 2027, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
Where: ArtServe, 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. Free parking.
What to bring: A notebook, water, and an idea for a short topic. It could be about your work, a hobby, or yourself. Please also bring a heavy sweater or jacket; the facility can get cold.
## 2027 tuition
- $90 early registration: Full payment must be received by Saturday, October 16, 2027, which is 14 days before the workshop.
- $100 after October 16 or at the door: Available only if space remains.
Your seat is reserved when payment is received. Space is limited to allow time for personal coaching.
