ABOUT South Florida Tech Startups:
If you are thinking of starting a business, looking to create a new service, or invent a new product then this group is for you. Meet with people who are starting, or would like to start an entrepreneurial venture, inventors, as well as existing entrepreneurs who are available to share their knowledge and experience with you. We have been running this group for many years and recently refocused it on South Florida Tech Startups including startup pitches, AI, software, hardware, anything tech.
WHO SHOULD JOIN:
All aspiring entrepreneurs are welcome as well as existing small business owners looking to expand into new markets or create new services or products. Job seekers and people "in transition" looking to explore options in addition to, or in lieu of, the job market should also join.
ABOUT OUR MEETUPS:
From informational seminars to hands-on workshops to networking events, join us to expand your options and income. Learn how to launch new ventures quickly and inexpensively. Learn new marketing techniques. Learn how to evaluate new ideas for viability. Some of our meetups will help job seekers with new employment opportunities as well as alternatives to the job market.
ATTENDANCE NOTE:
As with many other meetups, events posted are almost always promoted many different ways. So the "# Attended" listed on any of our meetups will be under-stated. Also, unless otherwise noted, I attend all meetups I post for this group so be sure to introduce yourself as a meetup member.

# Tech Startup Pitch Event with Networking, Wednesday May 21st, 2025, 6 pm With Dr. Philip DeFina Speaking. First 30 RSVPs are free.
StartupPOP is back again with a STARTUP PITCH EVENT with NETWORKING on May 21st 2025, networking starting at 6pm, and the speaker & pitches starting at 7:00pm. Our last event had over 125 attendees, 170 RSVPs, and we were kicked out by Amanda at 10:45pm... So we have to leave on time guys!

This month we welcome a local Delray Beach superstar, Dr. Phillip DeFina, a World-Renowned Cognitive Scientist who is implementing Novel Diagnostic and Treatment Protocols For Patients With Neurological Disorders! We would really love the local tech startup community to come and hear Dr. DeFina discuss working on patients with cancer, on-the-spectrum patients, patients in comas, dementia and a variety of other disorders! There is so much to discuss and so much for us to learn having him come and speak with us.
Thank you to everybody that has supported this event over the years, and keep on coming back.
We will also have 3-5 short tech startup pitches after Dr. DeFina speaks, so if you are a startup or an investor, this is a great event for YOU.
