Course Description: This course is designed for beginners and those looking to strengthen their pistol fundamentals. You’ll learn everything you need to know to safely and confidently handle a firearm. We’ll cover essential topics such as firearm safety, basic shooting techniques, and legal considerations. After completing the course, you’ll leave with a solid understanding of how to handle a pistol and apply the fundamentals in live-fire drills.
What You’ll Learn: Safe gun handling practices Pistol shooting fundamentals (aiming, trigger control, grip, and stance) Use of force and legal considerations Range safety procedures and tourniquet application.
How It Works: After you register, you’ll receive an email with all the details for your range day, including location, meeting time, and a checklist of items to bring.
What to Bring: holster (no serpa), At least 150 rounds of ammunition, semiautomatic gun, Eye & ear protection, Weather-appropriate clothing, Sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, hat, long sleeves (if desired) Snacks, meal, and plenty of water, Notepad and pen, Prescribed medical treatments (please inform the instructor ahead of time),
What’s Included: Range rental fees (for outdoor multiple-person classes) Steel/paper targets, barricades, or obstacles as required by the course
