• Abstract - This is a fast paced and and hands-on security training session to go over the OWASP API Security Top 10. This will cover the following:
• Understand the OWASP API Security Top 10 and the differences between the OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10
• Find and fix security issues
• Understand how to defend against these risks
• Think defensively while developing applications

• Speaker's Bio: Rohini Sulatycki is a passionate and innovative security leader with a proven track record in setting up application and network security programs. Is considered a thought leader in the field and has presented on topics related to application security, cloud security and automation at conferences including Blackhat, AppSec EU and BSides. Strong leadership skills are combined with an extensive background in application design and development, cloud security, IaC security, container security, Blockchain security, DAPP development, penetration testing (application, network, mobile, client-server), security assessments of systems, mobile devices, networks, virtualization platforms, middleware platforms, databases, and applications. Expertise in security code reviews and secure development training. Serves as the current chapter lead for OWASP South Florida and founder of a South Florida based Blockchain/DAPP meetup.
