Talk: Engineering - Mastering the art of Software

Software development has grown in the last 10 years, and with it the profession has also grown.This talk will cover the basic principles and mindset that differ from a software developer to a software engineer. Principles such as troubleshooting, toolsets, risk management, etc.The idea of the talk is to go over these base core principles and expose them to software developers starting in the profession or want to give a shift in their career improving it.

Parking:

Toll parking is available if you wish not to get a ticket or be towed. Parking is in the back on the first floor of PG 6 (Parking Garage 6) or Visitors parking in the RED Garage (PG 5).

Location:

Networking will be in the pavilion on the South East corner of PG 6 outside of Half Moon Empanadas. The rest of the night events will be in room 114 which is right inside the building on the first floor.

6:30 - 8pm: Networking + FREE pizza & Soda outside area/ balcony of Half Moon Empanada in PG 6

8pm: Talk Begins in Room 114 NOTE: DO NOT ENTIRE CLASSROOM BEFORE 8pm since students will be taking exams.
