The Point Monster's Championship is Florida's oldest continuously held, premier three-day tournament and also the largest tournament of the year with the exception of Free Play Florida. The 12th Anniversary Edition of The Point Monster's Championship features two qualifying days of pinball, with two simultaneous tournaments-- The Main Point Monsters Championship, and The Point Monsters Classics, both are IFPA Sanctioned tournaments.
Main Tournament: 28 hours of qualifying (play as little or as much as you want). Unlimited attempts for your entry fee.
Classics Tournament: 21 hours of qualifying (play as little or as much as you want). Pay per attempt.
The Main tournament awards the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Monster trophies, with the winner achieving a permanent banner in the rafters of The Asylum. Both the Main and the Classics also award cash prizes and trophies. This year we will have both an A and B division finals in the Main tournament.
While this event has a long, multi-day qualifying period, you do not have to play the entire time and most people don't. You may play as little or as long as you like during the qualifying period, one day or both days.
The Main Tournament requires PRE-REGISTRATION. The Classics Tournament can be PRE-PAID for a discount-- when you register-- or just sign-up and pay when you arrive.
Asylum Hours During Point Monster's:
Qualifying-- Friday, August 22, 2023: 1:00pm-1:00am
Qualifying-- Saturday, August 23: 9:00am-1:00am
A Division Finals-- Sunday, August 24: 10:30am-1:30pm
B Division Finals--Sunday, August 24: 11:00 am-1:30pm
"DO I HAVE TO PLAY THE ENTIRE TIME?"
As mentioned, you can play as little or as long as you want in terms of qualifying time. The event allows for a very long window to qualify. Some players use most of it, some not as much. It's entirely up to you and your goals and the results of where you stand in terms of your qualifying position. Although the Asylum is staying open late, no one has to be there playing late if they choose not to. And with the "B" division adding another 8 spots, there are plenty of opportunities to make the finals where anything can happen and anyone can win.

Some players arrive on Friday while others arrive on Saturday morning. Either way, if you are arriving from out of town, you'll of course probably need a place to stay in the Ft Myers - Naples area.
