About us
This group is for everyone from the beginner to the advanced snorkeler (divers are welcome too). Basically, everyone who loves to explore the amazing diversity of local reefs we are surrounded by. Every weekend during snorkel season (usually May through October) we will run a snorkel event at a set of rotating walk off reefs in the South Florida area that run from Jupiter to Ft. Lauderdale. A walk off reef means we swim off the beach to each location, there is no boat involved. Every event is free, you just need to bring your own gear, or rent and we will tell you where you can do that, and pay for your own parking. We will do events every weekend that the weather is good. All events are announced 1 week ahead of time, if an event is canceled due to poor conditions it will simply be pushed back a week to the following weekend. Notice will be given by 8:30 am if an event is to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Most events will kick off at 10am in the morning except for tidal dives in the inter-coastal waters. Generally, we meet, have an awesome time playing on a reef and then usually go for lunch and drinks afterwards. It's a horrible way to spend a summer day :)
