About the Speakers

Michelle Bakels is a Lead Developer and Instructor at Boca Code. She has participated in, placed, judged, coached, and organized hackathons over the last 6 years both virtually and in-person as well as for communities and corporations. Currently she serves as the Vice Chair of Code Palm Beach, and Co-Chair of Tech Hub South Florida’s Women's Council.

Damian Montero is a winner of 5 hackathons and author of "How to win a hackathon" (available on print and ebook) a tech lead with over 22 years experience in perfecting the art of programming and a huge fan of everything tech! If he doesn't know if he wants to learn it from those in love with it!
