Is this the end of South Florida Test Automation?

Details
Greetings to all our colleagues and friends!
I'm sorry, there is no meetup planned for next week, but apparently this is the only way I can reach out to everyone right now.
The South Florida Test Automator meetup had its first meeting on 2/18/2016. Hard to believe it's been six years already! At that time, we met in Dunkin Donuts in Davie. Slav has been the organizer almost the entire time this group has existed and has recently decided to step down from that role. At the time he discussed that with Jairo and I, we found out that Slav had been paying to keep the Meetup space active. Now, without an organizer, the group will close here.
I'm not in a position where I want to take on the role of organizer, or the expense of keeping Meetup paid, so for now, unless someone wants to take on the mantle (and expense) of the Meetup space, I think we're going to let it fold.
But is that the end of South Florida Test Automation? It doesn't have to be! We still have our Slack space and a group on LinkedIn. From there, we can still arrange meetings and presentations.
If you're interested in continuing our test automation journey together, join us there!
If you want to join us on Slack, email me at pjdaye@hotmail.com and I'll send you an invite.
On LinkedIn, join the South Florida Test Automation group. I can safely say that your request to join will be approved!
Thank you for your partnership during the first six years of the journey. We look forward to many more!
Regards,
Philip Daye
