This March, Manu will be offering two types of yoga classes: his usual Slow Flow and a new option, Restful Flow. Restful Flow is a softer, floor-based approach for those who would like a more restorative, gentle class.

Even if you have RSVP'd on Meetup, to get the link you must book in using the form at the bottom of this page: https://www.samadhi.org.uk/events/yoga-with-manu-slow-flow/

Slow Flow: March 2nd & March 16th
Recommended Materials: A yoga mat and two blocks.

Slow Flow is a calm, breath-led vinyasa with options. Slow, steady sequences to build strength and mobility without strain, with a restful finish. Come as you are; beginners are very welcome.

We’ll start with some breathing exercises and a warm-up to relax the mind and prepare the body. Following that will be a series of smooth and easy asanas (poses). We’ll finish up with some stretches and a meditation.

Restful Flow: March 9th & March 23rd
Recommended Materials: A yoga mat, a block and a cushion/bolster.

Restful Flow offers a slower, softer approach to movement, guiding you through a predominantly floor-based sequence that calms the nervous system and gently releases tension. With minimal standing postures and unhurried transitions, the emphasis is on steady breath, mindful awareness, and creating space in both body and mind.

Suitable for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone who feels the need to slow down and reset, this class invites you to move with ease and leave feeling grounded, restored and quietly refreshed.

Why join a vinyasa yoga class with Manu?
Practising vinyasa yoga increases flexibility and mobility while building muscle mass and strength, supporting overall body health. This dynamic practice helps burn fat, reduces stress on the joints and tissues to prevent injuries, and calms the mind by alleviating anxiety and mental fatigue.

The spiritual benefits of vinyasa yoga promote self-awareness and mindfulness, allowing for a deeper connection to oneself and the present moment. This class will help you cultivate greater calmness, clarity, and deep relaxation, supporting both your physical and mental wellbeing.

We are embracing a sliding scale policy for this event, guided by the Buddhist principle of generosity and inclusivity. Samadhi is a charity, and we have suggested donations that help cover the cost of putting on this event and our day-to-day costs. Choosing the higher option includes a donation to support our activities for the benefit of all.

We firmly believe, however, that financial constraints should never be a barrier to participation. If the suggested amount is beyond your means, please choose the lower option or contribute what you can — every offering helps make this event possible for the collective good. Without your honesty and generosity, we wouldn’t be able to make this event happen!
