3 Rivers Arts Festival and Lunch at The Eagle
Details
Let's go to the Arts Festival and see the New Arts Landing Park. We will enjoy lunch at the Southern-themed restaurant - The Eagle, featuring Southern Fried Chicken, salads, and sandwiches.
The Eagle The Arts Festival and the Eagle are on Penn Avenue downtown between the 7th and 9th Street bridges, near the Benedum Center. Please let me know if you will ride the T with me or meet us there.
Meet me at the T at South Hills Village, promptly at 11:30, so we can buy tickets and ride together. Park in the garage or at South Hills Village near the Macy's entrance at the back of the mall.
I will be inside at the entrance of T, near the guard's station. I will wear my yellow Pittsburgh baseball hat, so that you can recognize me. Purchase parking and a Connect card at the T entrance. Approx. $7. The T stop in downtown is Wood St.
If you want to drive or take a bus, meet us at 12:30 at the Eagle restaurant, 737 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh 15222 - directly across from the Arts Festival. Theatre Square and Sixth and Penn Parking garages are nearby.
In case of rain - it always rains for the Arts Festival - we will do lunch and make alternative plans to enjoy downtown together. We can easily go to my office building, take a little tour, and enjoy the views. Hope to see you there.
