EcclesiCon (2-Day Convention in Palmyra, NJ)

Remember the "Satanic Panic" of the 1980s when Christian leaders thought Dungeons & Dragons was a gateway to occult rituals and juvenile delinquency?! Well those days are no more!

Ecclesicon is a two-day gaming convention founded by Wes Allen, a pastor and avid gamer who runs the YouTube channel DM Tales, and hosted by the Central Baptist Church of Riverton-Palmyra. It's just across the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge from Philadelphia.
The convention is run as a fundraiser, splitting proceeds between Central Baptist Church’s roof-replacement loan and Booksmiles, a literacy advocacy non-profit based in South Jersey.

The church is on the corner of Maple Avenue & East 5th Street and its address is 514 Maple Ave, Palmyra, NJ 08065.

The convention will run from 9:00am to 10:00pm on Friday, May 1st, and from 9:00am to 11:00pm on Saturday, May 2nd.

Several experienced GMs will be running a variety of games at various time slots throughout both days of the convention. There will also be some sessions for the Pendragon card game and Battletech miniatures game, and a talk by Ecclesicon organizer, Wes Allen, and Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo organizer, Ron Meischker, who will discuss the economic realities of organizing a gaming convention. Make sure to attend the charity game auction on Saturday at 6:00pm.
