12 or 26 Miles: Marathon/Half Marathon Walk

Let's walk a marathon together! Using the Delaware Canal trails in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, we will walk in a loop from the Washington Crossing Bridge to the Centre Bridge. We will stop at some scenic places along the way: Baldpate Mountain, Goat Hill Overlook, Prallsville Mills and Bowman's Hill Tower.
You can just walk the first 12 miles, if you have a partner or someone who can pick you up. If you and a friend both come to the walk, one of you can park at the 12 mile mark (Prallsville Mills, Stockton) and one of you can park at the beginning of the walk (Washington Crossing State Park, Titusville). You could also just walk halfway and then get a taxi back to your car.
The complete walk will be 26.2 miles, a full marathon. It will take about 9 hours to complete. We will stop at stores to use restrooms and purchase any necessities such as water and snacks.
Bring a backpack with water, snacks, and whatever else you think you will need. For example, you might need some ibuprofen, sunscreen, etc.
