Social Hike: Chinley Churn from New Mills Central (with car share from the Met)

Join us for a hike up Chinley Churn from New Mills with car share the Metropolitan pub, not far from the Burton Road tram station. Total distance will be about 8 miles, and 448m ascent. Stopping off at the excellent Sett Valley Café on the way back, if we make it before 3pm!

As you can appreciate, punctuality is key if we're going to enjoy those glorious hand made pies and cakes as Sett Valley Cafe, so please try to make it to the designated walk start at New Mills Central station by 10am. To park, continue down the road past the station to find the car park on the right (which used to be pay and display).

There is another station at New Mills but the one you want is New Mills Central. Trains leave Piccadilly at 8:50 and 9:30, to arrive at New Mills Central by 10am.
