Social Hike: Mellor Cross and Roman Lakes from Strines Station with Car Share

Join us for a hike up to Mellor Cross from Strines train station with car share the Metropolitan pub, not far from the Burton Road tram station. Total distance will be about 6 miles, and 320m ascent. Stopping off at the excellent Roman Lakes Tea Rooms on the way back. Meet at Strines Station here, if you'd prefer, meeting at 11:15. Shorter than some previous walks but don't worry, I have worked some cardio in there to get the pulse racing!

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

A train leaves Piccadilly at 10:45 to arrive at Strines by 11:10am .
