The route will takes on an exploratory circuit of Macclesfield Forest from The Leather's Smithy pub. Food at the pub after, for those who would like. Bring a snack and water for the walk.

The intention is to offer car shares from The Metropolitan in West Didsbury from 11am. I can offer three seats but if you have a vehicle which can offer more or would like a lift, post below. Meet close to the car park entrance.
We'll set off from outside the Leather's Smithy Pub at 12:00 promptly. I'll bring a South Manchester Social sign, so look out for that.
Terrain will be fine if they can manage the distance but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

I've done bits of these trails before but about 5 years ago. Backtracking may be involved. It'll be an adventure! I am not a professional guide. I'm just going for a walk and wondered if anyone would like to join me. All parts of the trails conform to public rights of way detailed by OS Maps.
