Writing and Critique Meetup

After the rise of Covid, we decided to switch these meetings to Online only. We may someday do in person meetings/Hybrid, but until further notice, we are strictly on Skype.

The bonus feature is, we are no longer exclusively Seattle-based. In fact, we're now nation-wide in membership-- International, in fact :-)

This meetup is designed to help new and experienced authors work on their (~5000 word) novel chapters, short stories, poetry, etc. Although we take our writing seriously... ourselves, not so much :-)

Newcomers and all attendees are always welcome, whether they're submitting or not.

We often meet socially to discuss writing and the business of writing before and after the official start and end times.

When we have a full house and six submissions, this meetup can go as long as 10:00pm but usually ends at or before 9:00. All submitters should plan on staying for the entire meeting.

We take turns going through the files, giving feedback and critique of the files upload for that meeting

After the submission discussions and if we have time, we'll delve into writing related topics- publishing, story ideas, recommendations, etc.
