Come mix, mingle and make new friends (or hang out with those who you've known for ages!) We gather safely - live and in-person - on the LAST Saturday morning of each month, January through October. (Our November and December brunches are always rescheduled due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.)

Our host, the Fairing Way senior living residence in South Weymouth, not only provides us with a lovely dining room but caters a delicious meal so we can enjoy friendly conversation and socializing.

PLEASE READ this entire announcement as it contains important registration information and COVID-19 requirements in order to attend.

COVID-19: South Shore Elder Services and Fairing Way retirement community want all participants, staff and volunteers to be safe. We must comply with Massachusetts Department of Public Health and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) COVID-19 requirements in order to enter the lovely Fairing Way senior living residence. These include:

1. SHOW PROOF of COVID-19 VACCINATION or A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST within 72 hours of the brunch is REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION. We recommend that you take a picture of your vaccination card and store it on your phone in case you forget your card at home. No exceptions will be allowed entry.
2. PACK YOUR MASK. MASKS MUST BE WORN other than when you are actively drinking and eating. You must wear your mask as you enter, navigate and leave the community. All staff and volunteers will wear masks while we are at the meal site.
3. ALL SURFACES WILL BE SANITIZED before anyone comes into the meal site and immediately after everyone leaves.
4. TABLES AND CHAIRS WILL BE PREARRANGED to honor social distancing. Please do not make any changes, or you may be asked to leave.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED no later than the Wednesday morning before via Meetup to help South Shore Elder Services and Fairing Way prepare the appropriate number of meals. No walk-ins allowed at this time.

(Cash) ADMISSION: $2 for those age 60+ and $5 for those younger.

SIGN-IN and CONTACT TRACING: Upon arrival, you will be required to sign-in and provide a phone number or email address so we can contact you if needed. This information will be kept confidential and will only be used by brunch staff if needed. It will not be shared with attendees.

SELF-CHECK: Before you register and attend, please do a self-check by asking yourself the following questions.

• Am I experiencing any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms?
• Am I diagnosed with COVID-19 and not feeling well?
• Am I under voluntary or required self-quarantine?
• Have I had close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19?
• Have I traveled outside the country without having a negative COVID-19 test upon my return?

Please stay home if you are ill and join us next month.

PARKING: Please park in front of the Fairing Way main entrance in a marked visitor parking space. If there is no space, park on Parkview Street in any open spot. Enter the club house and staff will greet and escort you to our dining room.
