Looking to connect and share with other like-minded families on the south shore.
We are a Secular family who are raising our children Screen-free and will be beginning our Homeschooling/Unschooling adventure with them in the near future.
We are hoping to find other families who share in these values.
The goal of this group is to
share ideas and resources related to these values** and eventually share ideas for local events and opportunities for field trips and meet ups!
YES, us parents have and use smartphones 😄 and our children are aware of them, but they do not have access to them or other devices or screens.
We are easy going and non-judgmental but it has been very difficult to find other families who particularly share in the value of raising children screen free. Please join this group if this is how you feel too!
We are looking to explore or already have interest in different philosophies and curriculum related to Waldorf, Montessori, un-schooling, nature schooling, wild learning among others.
This is exploratory. At the moment I don’t have the ability to solely administer a group and plan and facilitate outings and such, but hope to be able to get enough interest and meet some other families that want to share in this adventure that we may be able to in the near future
