Description:
Mostly flat, gravel paths around multiple ponds. This 41-acre site includes 12 acres of constructed wetland ponds, 8 acres of groundwater recharge basins, more than 5 acres of undisturbed forest, a mitigation wetland, access road and 12 acres of walking trails, and native landscaping. The trails surround the wetland ponds. There are four kiosk displays with their interpretive signs help you learn about reclaimed water and the features of the area.

Binoculars. Dress for probable rain. Casual shoes are completely fine.
Directions:
3001 Hogum Bay Road NE, Lacey, WA 98516
From downtown Olympia, take I-5 north to Marvin Road (exit 111), and stay to the left-hand side on the ramp, turning left onto Marvin Road at the light.
Go north on Marvin Road to Willamette Drive (second roundabout) and turn right. Travel east on Willamette Drive to Hogum Bay Road, and turn left. Go north on Hogum Bay Road about 1/4 mile, and turn left into the parking area.
Parking:
Limited parking, ~10 spaces in a gravel lot. No pass needed.
