This location in Mason County is brimming with migratory birds at this time of year. Flycatchers, warblers, and finches all find what they need to nest and thrive here. Western Tanagers are fairly common and this has been a reliable spot to see and hear Yellow-breasted Chats so keep your fingers crossed.
Dress for the weather, optics, water/snacks as desired.
The road we will walk is wide and graveled with some uphill portions.
There are no restroom facilities.

NOTE: This field trip is being offered in place of the field trip to Johns Prairie in Shelton. Unfortunately, there were not enough birds there to warrant a field trip.
