Meetup Trip/Tour @ Will County Historical Museum in Lockport (10am)

Details
Sat., July 12, 10:00am in Lockport.
We are meeting up @ the Will County Historical Society & Museum in Lockport.
"Located in the original 1837 canal headquarters building, the Illinois and Michigan Canal Museum offers 10 rooms filled with artifacts, pictures, and documents relating to the construction and operation of the canal, as well as period items specific to the region during the height of the canal’s operation. This building is now operated by the Will County Historical Museum and Research Center. (They also operate Heritage Village at 249 W. 2nd Street.)"
We will be receiving a private tour of the museum, including the Lincoln artifacts.
There is no charge for admission, but they do ask for a donation. Bring a friend! Please RSVP on Meetup to help with head count.
Address: 803 S. State St (aka Rt. IL-171)., Lockport, IL 60441
Transportation to the museum is on-your-own, and we are starting the tour @ 10am at the museum. There is parking on the street in front of the museum, but even better there is a parking lot just to the north, in front of the Gaylord building.
After the museum tour, several of us will be grabbing a bite to eat in picturesque downtown Lockport (Restaurant TBD).
Those who wish to eat afterward may want to investigate downtown Lockport.
