Join Rachel "Nerdygirlyogi" for an all levels chair yoga class. We will spend the majority of the class seated, but will also stand occasionally for balance poses and use the chair as a prop. Expect to learn breathing techniques, chant mantras, and learn meditation and energy medicine. All bodies and experience are welcome. Nothing is required but an open mind

Join Liz Langevin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with South Windsor Youth & Family Services to talk about what alcohol provides for us, what it takes away, how it impacts our brain and its potential to send a message to our children about substance use that we do not want. We will talk about healthy alternatives to manage our stress as well as helpful "quit-lit" and podcasts that provide opportunities to learn more about alcohol and its effects.
