Live football: EASTLEIGH VS GATESHEAD ⚽️

Join me on Saturday 1st February for the 17:30 kick-off between Eastleigh and Gateshead in the National League. This is sure to be a competitive and exciting match- it finished 2-1 to Gateshead in the reverse fixture thanks to a 90th minute winner from Louis Storey, despite them losing Tom Allan to a 61st minute red card.

Eastleigh currently occupy 13th in the division under the management of popular former Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis, just 3 points off the play-off places. Gateshead were controversially denied their place in the play-offs due to stadium rules last season, and they are currently 4th in the league. It promises to be a fiercely contested battle between two strong sides, led by excellent strikers Paul McCalllum (Eastleigh) and Owen Oseni (Gateshead) with 8 goals each this season.

We will purchase tickets in the Eastleigh section of the stadium and meet in the club bar at 4.45, aiming to enter the stadium for our seats at 5.15 for a 5.30 kick off. Come on you Spitfires!
