What we’re about
This group aims to bring people from all over the world currently living in Southampton or the surrounding areas together, to learn about each others' cultures and be given a chance to practise each others' language skills!
The original organiser back in 2018-19 was a keen artist who had been planning to organising some creative events, but sadly these didn't really come to fruition, and face-to-face meetups have been made more difficult since March 2020, as everyone knows. However, as a Cultural Champion for the City who works with both Universities and Southampton City as well as Hampshire County Councils, I would like to see this group being given a second chance to thrive - the key difference being a focus on cultural engagement, which can be difficult to come by in the City, unless you know who to ask!
So if you like art, science, theatre, music, dance, as well as potentially meeting people from all over the world, then come join us! - we hope to develop a new programme from the Autumn.
