Southampton Improv Community - Laugh and Create

Over 5 Monday evenings, we will explore using Improv to laugh and create (sometimes very short!) stories together.
We, Carmen and Damian, will share fun approaches to making each other laugh! Even if you've never told a joke or stepped onto a stage. Our focus in this course is to welcome absolute beginners, help you to create scenes & characters, and let longer scenes and stories evolve.
What is Improv? It's a set of skills that anyone can learn for creating in a supportive, collaborative fashion - no one person has to do all the work: nor should they!
You'll be amazed at how easily you'll build worlds together and make new friends.
Things to remember:

• You can do this - most of your daily life is unscripted!
• The whole class is one team - no heckling - only support
• You don't have to ever do this in public
• You can ALWAYS opt out of any scene or activity or topic - we've got your back.
