Improv isn't only about fun, jokes and comedy - these are often heady and set up - but it is magical for an audience to be complicit in discovering characters and scenes, like in films and theatre productions. In improv we just have the added challenge that the improvisers discover the scene and characters at the same time as the audience. We look at how to make all of this delightful, interesting and even spellbinding.
It will be helpful to have some prior experience of improv for this mini-course. If you want to discuss what that means, just drop us a line.

What is Improv? It's a set of skills that anyone can learn for creating in a supportive, collaborative fashion - no one person has to do all the work: nor should they!
You'll be amazed at how easily you'll build worlds together and make new friends.
Things to remember:

• You can do this - most of your daily life is unscripted!
• The whole drop-in is one team - no heckling - only support
• You don't have to ever do this in public
• You can ALWAYS opt out of any scene or activity or topic - we've got your back.
