Lymington
The historic town of Lymington is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history. Lots of interesting shops, cafes and places to stop for a break. Lymington has a wide choice of pubs and the ones that are on the route are The Ship Inn, Bosun's Chair and the Mayflower. You might find a quieter option at the Ferryman and Chequers Inn.
Hurst Castle
Hurst Castle is an artillery fort established by Henry VIII on the Hurst Spit in Hampshire, England, between 1541 and 1544.
Disused railway
Castleman’s Corkscrew', a disused railway line so-called because of the shape it cut across the forest and Charles Castleman who promoted it.
