Welcome to The Southampton Sewing Hub Meetup Group!
Whether you’re a total beginner, a returning stitcher, or a seasoned maker, The Sewing Hub is your creative home in Southampton. We’re a fully accessible, community-driven space offering relaxed, friendly sewing sessions for all levels.

Whether you’re still learning (most of us still are) or an experienced sewist, this in-person gathering is the perfect opportunity to share ideas, learn new techniques, and connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts. Beginners welcome!Bring your own sewing projects and/or machine (please advise us) or start something new with materials from our ‘stash’ (there may be additional costs). Our friendly and supportive community will be there to offer guidance and inspiration.
There will be plenty of hot/cold drinks and biscuits on hand too!
During the Sewing Circle, you’ll have the chance to use our machines and cutting table, socialise, swap tips and tricks, and shape future gatherings! So, grab your sewing kit and join us for a few hours of creativity and camaraderie!

This is a new venture for the Sewing Hub and we hope to fill a 34 seater coach to include return travel and entry ticket to the show at Alexandra Palace.
Tickets £55 (if we fill the coach, so tell your friends).
We will be going public to sell tickets so don’t waste any time getting in first!
There are loads of workshops too e.g. crochet, knitting, dressmaking, embroidery, needle punching, macramé, rag rugging, bargello, needle felting, goldwork, and much more. Prices range from £20 – £34 but there is so much to do! Take a look here: knitandstitchshow.co.uk/london/
If interested in the workshops you will need to book these individually and bear in mind that our departure time should get us there for approximately 10.30 a.m.We will be leaving the Sewing Hub at 8.00 a.m. so you get most of the day there. Last booking opportunity will be September 8th, but please don’t leave it until then!
