Maskers are putting this on to celebrate Jane Austen and her links with Southampton.

Our Heroine Catherine Morland has finally arrived at Northanger Abbey where reality meets fantasy as she devours the Gothic Novel "The Mysteries of Udolpho" The more horrid, the better!"
What really happened to General Tilney's wife?...and does the answer lie locked in a secret chest in the Abbey?
Can Catherine remain friends with everyone...and who can she trust? Will there be wedding bells...and for whom?

Thought it sounded quite fun and also thought maybe best to book before the school holidays when many have holidays themselves and for some, child-care duties!
Tickets not bad at £15...on road parking around. I have A7 and will be in the bar from 7pm to relax as usual with a welcome glass of something. Of course you can meet in Santos if more convenient...up to you really..though can be a tad iffy for seats.
