Itchen loop walk

Loop walk around the River Itchen. Starting point Winchester Barfield park and ride surface car park just off Junction 10 M3.. N.B. not St Catherine's as indicated on the map. The P&R costs £3.50 for the whole day and includes bus fare into Winchester.

This is a 10 km loop walk starting and ending in Winchester. We will walk to Shawford, via St Cross. At Shawford we can take a break at the Station One Cafe before walking back to Winchester via St Catherine's Hill.

If you are not travelling by car let me know and I will give you an alternative meeting point.

This is a really lovely scenic walk and mostly flat. Some parts of the walk go through farm land so no dogs please.
